Meet Suzy, Phoebe & David
Hi there! I'm David Ruttenberg, a passionate scientist, PhD candidate, Fulbright Specialist Awardee and Fellow of several prestigious institutions. I'm dedicated to creating positive change through interdisciplinary research.
But most importantly, I'm Phoebe's Dad, and Suzy's Husband (who is Phoebe's mom).
My work bridges neuroscience, education, and technology to create AI accommodations and software benefiting people across the neurological spectrum—from neurotypical individuals to those with autism, ADHD, epilepsy, and other neurodivergent conditions.
I'm also proud to have made my mark in the entertainment industry as a GRAMMY™ producer and engineer and Amazon™ bestselling author.
I want to make a difference around the world by creating new ideas that help solve real problems. I plan to do this by:
-
Developing creative research that connects with real social issues
-
Turning my research into actual tools and solutions people can use
-
Working with communities to create positive change
In other words, I'm not just interested in studying problems—I want to create practical solutions that actually improve people's lives globally.
My Story
Hi there! I’m excited to share a bit about myself. As a passionate researcher and inventor, I’ve dedicated my career to creating opportunities for neurodiverse individuals through ethical AI.
I draw inspiration from my family, especially my wife Suzy, my partner for over 30 years, and our exceptional daughter, Phoebe. Since Phoebe's diagnoses at 18 months (she's now in her early 20s pursuing a degree in Environmental Science & Policy), our family has the lived experience and has advocated for those with differences. Suzy & Phoebe motivate me to strive for a better world for neurodiverse individuals, reminding me of the strength found in love and support.
My journey has led me to develop AI-powered wearable devices that help people with sensory sensitivities, attention issues, and mental health challenges thrive in various settings.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—from academia to the business world—making an impact in education, digital entrepreneurship, neuroscience, publishing, and even the music industry! My experiences as a serial entrepreneur and leader have given me a unique perspective on driving positive change.
